Tour Roundtrip to Astoria by Jet Boat and Motorcoach

Your Route of the Explorers Land & Sea Excursion will cover 120 miles of the Columbia River aboard an exciting jet boat and a sightseeing motorcoach. One half of the tour will be on the jet boat and the other half aboard a motorcoach.

You'll travel to the coastal town of Astoria at the mouth of the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean. In Astoria, you will have time on your own to explore a bit and enjoy lunch. There's also a motorcoach tour to visit the Astoria Column and Fort Clatsop.

The decision of which half of the tour (from Portland to Astoria or returning from Astoria to Portland) will be done by jet boat will be made the day of the tour.

Jet Boat Tour Advisory

For safety and comfort, you should be in good health and free from heart, back, knee and neck problems, motion sickness or other conditions that could be aggravated. Expectant mothers should not ride. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Weather and river conditions can vary dramatically. You may need to navigate a steep series of steps when boarding and disembarking.

What is the dress code/appropriate attire?
There is no specific dress code, but casual is fine. It is strongly recommend that you do not wear high-heeled shoes; wear solid, non-slip footwear as you'll be in a marine environment. It is also recommended that you wear layered clothing as the climate on the river can be unpredictable.

Are you wheelchair accessible?
The Jet Boat is not wheelchair accessible. Please contact us before reserving at 888-307-4181 so we may answer any questions you have regarding mobility needs.

Is smoking permitted?
Smoking is not permitted at any time on the jet boat.
